Looks like the team had Dr. Andreo Spina over, earlier this summer, and he certified the staff in Functional Range Release (FRR) and Functional Range Conditoning (FRC).

These were some of his tweets:

It looks like he has worked with the staff prior to that, as well. Here are some clips of him teaching the staff in April (Rogowski is his "patient").

As for Dwight, he posted this earlier:

    <iframe src="//instagram.com/p/scrqEQKi-O/embed/" width="612" height="710" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" allowtransparency="true"></iframe>

^^ that picture is from a recent celebrity game. I'm not sure how much of his improvement is due to treatment from the OP, but he also seems to be training with Lilian Abdelmalek:

    http://instagram.com/lilydsatraining

    <iframe src="//instagram.com/p/sSPDuHxBI6/embed/" width="612" height="710" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" allowtransparency="true"></iframe>

    <iframe src="//instagram.com/p/sYMRYDxBCb/embed/" width="612" height="710" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" allowtransparency="true"></iframe>

    <iframe src="//instagram.com/p/saIN46RBFm/embed/" width="612" height="710" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" allowtransparency="true"></iframe>

I'm not sure how much to be concerned about that last clip. He's clearly not 100% yet, based on his comment, but in that last clip his movement also doesn't look very good. He still doesn't have complete range of motion. Fatigue, from the workout, could also be a factor though. The bright side is he's improving and was able to play very well in the playoffs, even at whatever percentage he was back then. I'm hoping this means we can see a significant improvement from him this season.

I really wonder how those video sessions go after games. Everytime Harden does not give the effort, does everybody just looks away a bit awkwardly and McHale just skips past them?

Probably should have posted about Dwight first. The first post probably bored people and they didn't bother with the rest. Although I was disappointed to know he is still not fully rehabbed from back surgery, I think it's kind of exciting to know his post game should get better. I was afraid we had seen the finished product.

Sorry but this guy sounds like a quack. Which is worst: tweeting out old reference articles or Leonard Bernstein quotes to lend authority to your medical mumbo jumbo? Because he did both. If I ever see a real doctor tweet out reference articles then the first that'll come to my mind will be, "inferiority complex". And that's a real doctor. Not some chiropractor who changed his last name to fit his job.

Let's shatter the paradigm of our articulations! Think outside the pelvic girdle! Yea!

Lol so I just clicked on his website. Supposedly he's an expert on neck massages, aka FUNCTIONAL ANATOMIC PALPATION.

Someone call Jontro, because there's a quack out there claiming to be certified in FAP-ping who needs to be shown how a real professional does it.

^^^ let me guess, you saw the word palpation and further down a picture of a neck, so that means he's only an expert in massaging necks.

Guys, if you're going to call someone a quack, maybe go further than the intro to his webpage...

Probably crap but why not. It isn't like they are bringing him on to the staff. For as important as footwork etc.. why not try a few things.

More excited to see those tweets from D12 about feeling good.

He's teaching the staff, so he definitely has to know what he's doing. If people actually believe the team would hire a quack to educate their staff, then they might as well stop rooting for such an incompetent organization. Do people really think the existing staff wouldn't know who's legit out there and who isn't? Morey is just going to hire the first Google result without consulting the staff, who'd know more than him?

Mann if Dwight gets anywhere close to 100% since Orlando with Hardens improvements Houston is a top 3 seed as long as the rest give Hou something

My great uncle is one of the foremost Jeet Kune Do instructors in the world. He was friends with Bruce Lee and was trained by one of Bruce's original students.

Back in the '90's, the San Francisco 49ers brought him in to training camp to show different JKD techniques to linemen to help them to get to the quarterback.

My point is, sports teams do all kinds of unconventional and unproven crap to try to help the team.

Mchale implied last season that Dwight failed his physical (obviously the team waived it, and were aware beforehand), the lakers never saw more than 70% dwight, we never saw more than 90% dwight last year.

I don't disagree, but this isn't as unconventional, as your example. Even then, would it make your uncle a quack? I don't think so.
