    Ok seriously, people abuse this system like crazy. I've had racist stuff said to me via rep message (which I complained about here in another feedback thread), people cursing at me, etc. I honestly don't care if someone said those kind of things in the forums, but when they do it in reputation, I have no clue who it is. I don't think this is what reputation messages should be used for.

    Technically, it isn't a "Rep" system. It's called a "Feedback" system. You have to live with the good and the bad.

    Just be glad Clutch doesn't allow all those neggies you receive to count as -1.

    :p

    that said: I do recall Clutch saying he'd like to move to a Like system, maybe because it won't have responses included with the Like?

    no no, only clutch's neggies count :(

    i'm fine with the current system actually, just maybe if it told you who gave you the rep. maybe thats an easier fix rather than putting together a whole new like system?

    well there were a couple of people in there who left me positive messages. their identities shall not be revealed as I dont want them receiving hateful rep either :grin:

    I think Clutch can see the name of the people sending rep, so maybe he could do something to them, when he is not busy or something.

    Just realized you could mess with people by leaving feedback as someone else. Create fake feuds, friendships and love triangles through manipulative feedback droppings.

    I don't really get hate rep, even when people call me a troll to my face in a thread. I'm not sure what it is you're doing that makes people want to send you hate rep.
