    With the 83rd pick in the draft, Texans select Louis Nix. Traded up. Lots of people wanted this guy.

    Texans acquired the 83rd pick (3rd round)

    Eagles received the 101 (4th rd) and 141 (5th rd) picks.

    So don't call them chickens or only willing to play it safe or whatever. They traded up to get a guy that has massive bust out of the league potential. He could either fat himself out out of the league or no-knees himself out.

    Underwent surgery in late November to repair a torn meniscus (Dr. James Andrews). Did not bench press at the NFL Scouting Combine (pectoral).
