[SI] Lillard calls Beverley's "antics" "irritating"

How would Lillard have reacted if he had a broken nose?

Flopping doesn't get your nose broken. Oh, and one of the Blazers undercut Bev on a foul which caused him to sprain his left wrist. So I don't wanna hear any b-tching from that team about cheap shots.

 

Gotta love that Junkyard Dog.. this tells me Portland, and especially Lillard don't want to see Houston in the playoffs

 

One of my big pet peeves is when someone complains about something, gives you details about it and then says something like "but I barely noticed" or "it didn't bother me really" or "it's whatever."

 

Dudes getting mad because someone is actually playing hard nose (no pun bev) defense on them lol

 

bev needs to dye his hair different colors before tip off. i'd start of with blond as it's not to flamboyant then work up to magenta and lime green.

 

So is that the reason that Lillard plays such crappy defense? He doesn't want to "irritate" anyone?

 

Lol Lillard just cant take a hard nosed defender apparently......granted it was after they won but Steph Curry said he loves playing and competing against Bev becuase he makes him a better player.....I respect that especially since Bev has gotten the best of him many times and he wasnt bitter about it. And I strongly dislike the Warriors.

Lillard sounds really sensitive on this one

Gettin' raked across the face hurts when your nose ISN'T broken.

Maybe this speaks to a larger point, which is the refs ought to call charges, all manner of push offs and moving screens without having a defender eat hardwood. When there's no need to flop, to "sell" a call or whatever, players will stop doing it. Flopping is weak, we all know it but at this point it remains a necessary evil.

I mean, it wasn't an all-star game......the man is going to play defense on you...
