Why do we do Harden ISO at the end of games it basically never worked last year and it doesn't look like it will work this year.

McHale has no control over Harden. Harden decides which play to go, not McHale.

He was talking about developing a post game. So much for that.

Look at how Miami and Spurs play. They move the ball around a lot. Harden is basically a black hole. Ball just disappears. Just a shorter version of Melo and we all know Melo ain't ever winning a championship.

Don't pass him the ball, let Jeremy initiate, wave Harden off....screw feelings...man up.

How do you know this? Harden is doing what he's told to do.. If he was running his own play McHale would be having a fit. Basically, like the OP stated, they do this at the end of every game. It's McHale's game plan and not Harden's.

McHale didn't want to run a pick and roll because of fear of Dwight getting fouled and put back in the line. So they went one on one according to Steve Kerr.

Morey already talked about why most teams go to ISO sets at the end of quarters.

Last season Harden was ranked about 40th in the league in ISOs so he was one of the better players. The year before that in OKC he was top 10 iirc.

Harden is a flawed player with no defense, and shoots less than 45%.

During the NBA history, has any star player without defense been able to carry a team to a championship? I just do not think so.

Harden is like a Glen Robinson, Glen Rice, or Carmelo. Ray Allen in his prime days is better, even Ray Allen can not win a championship until he went to boston with Garnett and Pierce.

Ray Allen is not called a superstar, not even Pierce.

Hard to play in the post with 7 footers who can't shoot.

This loss is on Harden and Howard, should of ran a play even if Harden is the ball handler... A least its early in the season. Only time Harden can go ISO is only if he is hitting 55% of his shots for that night or aka in the zone... other than that pass the demn ball around !!!

Whenever Harden isos for 20 seconds and passes it off, the players need to pass it right back to him and make him hoist it up.

Guy literally dribbles the entire shotclock. So freakin selfish.

Harden's iso's aren't the problem - it's how much time he takes off the clock before making his move, trapping him into a fading jump shot off one foot.

If that's the case, they should practice running PnR with someone else (Parsons or Casspi) at crunch time.

Hmm...doesn't listen to the coach, has ego problems, screams at teammates, plays too much ISOs and plays heroball at end of games. Anyone else thinks Harden is turning into Kobe?

Poor Dwight, at least ballhog Kobe knows how to play D! I can easily see him getting upset by the end of season if we leep running this Harden ISO in crunch time

harden is very selfish and lazy, and he knows it

outside of KD, curry, and dirk, there shouldn't be another star in the nba shooting 9 3's a game. if melo, westbrook, or rose do it and lose, everyone would blame them

harden is riding this "young, face-paced rockets with a new rising star" thing too far. he's practically blameless right now

chucker in every sense of the word, and he does it so nonchalant...ly

    does he even care?
