this is great to hear from him. he knows exactly what he needs to work on, and is driven by the goal of winning a championship this year. I really like how everyone on the team knows how much potential this team has, and everyone seems to be putting in the work to reach that potential.

It's nice to hear everyone is excited but hopefully people are willing to sacrifice to contend for a championship, regardless of what it may be. Hopefully in training camp this team can find their roles and McHale can execute those roles most effectively. Then the team should be able to make a very deep run in the west conference.

Yeah, he sounds pretty dialed in. I'm still guarded about such high expectations for this season. Maybe next season. But I do expect a playoff run. And I expect team chemistry to be great.

Harden should sacrifice some usage rate to Howard and Lin.
It can reduce his Tos and improve defense

    I don't want him to play 38-40mins

He is being modest, I will bet inside he is seething and ready to bust out.

    "We don't have postseason experience"

Umm, James Harden and Dwight Howard have an assload of postseason experience, as does Omer.

(Beverly/Parsons do too, well more than Jeremy at the very least)

Hope Lin would talk about their improvement of
    team defense after the camp.

It's hard to not like Lin. He has a winning attitude, and I think he's very talented (some of his finishes are amazing). His biggest problem is being too unselfish. If he can be a little more aggressive and free in his play, it will be very exciting for us.

Yes, individually, but I guess he means this new line up together.

"We don't have the [postseason] experience," Lin said, "so we're going to have to make up for that somehow, some way. And we don't really want to wait around and wait three years down the line to be able to compete for a championship; we want to do that now. ... If everything jells together in an ideal situation, I think we can be a championship contender for sure. But that's a big 'if,' and we understand that, and our coaching staff understands that.

I like how he used the word usage rate to describe one of his adjustment since joining this team.

    Jeremy Lin

Lin is bright and insightful and seems able to articulate how he's best-advised to behave in most situations. But he can also trip himself up. Here is an excerpt from an article by Adrian Wojnarowski, following the game against the Knicks last December:

I like Jeremy. I really do.

...But, I don't think we can make the championship jump with him as our starting point guard. He is an average guard, and while I hope he improves, we are in more of a win-now mode. He's the answer at the PG position.

At least he is humble and supportive of his teammates. I can't say anything bad about that.

History shows that championships can be won even with a below average point guard. Lin is a free option an average point guard at worst.
