One thing I've noticed is Harden is initiating the action quicker, so even though he handles the ball alot he is not a "ball stopper". This was an issue earlier in the season.

Even if it's just a little hesitation move, the defense immediately starts to react and things open up.

I know what you mean, James does not take alot of time time to either score or create a play. When you watch him he crosses half court and immediately finds the weakness in the defense. You also have to give credit to the rest of the players for spacing the floor well, especially Chandler he makes great cuts and is always moving well off the ball.

Harden could probably go for 20/18/5 if he wanted to play his game that way.

More like 20/18/10 lol he's baby king James. In all seriousness though I think his game is extreamly similar to lebron both physical and fast with elite athletism only diffrence is harden has a better shot while lebron has alot better post game.

Remember it took lebron a few yrs to become the best defender in the league I believe harden has the tools and drive to get there too.

Lebron though is, what, 6' 8". Taller, heavier, and faster than Harden.

Harden's advantage is his motor. He doesn't seem to take plays off, unlike Lebron, IMO, who sometimes is not involved in their offense.

I wonder if some the OKC brass is a little surprised by it all. They couldn't have thought he would be *this* good and *this* consistent for us.

Man is that looking like an amazingly good trade.

The trade was pretty much near perfect. An underutilized, rising star on an already good team that is in cap troubles traded for a team desperate for a star and an underrated off-ball guard that compliment the other teams already established star.

We obviously pillaged the Thunder in terms of value, but the trade is what both teams needed. In any case it was nothing short of a steal.

I don't think Harden has a better shot than LeBron does. But he does have a better shot than LeBron did at age 23, so that's promising.

Lebron is way more physically dominant, but Harden has a better feel for the game and is more clever. Lebron's physical gifts let him be a dominant defensive player that Harden will never be. But offensively, Harden could approach Lebron. I like Harden's game more aesthetically though.

I don't think they are that surprised I mean he was on the Olympic team. But they also knew that since they have Durant and Westbrook they wouldn't lose much by adding Kevin Martin and getting future picks.

This could end up being one of the best trades in NBA history in terms of both teams benefited from the trade, Houston has a franchise player to build around for the next 5+ years and OKC can maintain their high level of play and could very well win the Championship this year.
