Hey, somebody was going to do it sooner or later, right?

Good luck, Scott, and thanks for not being a clueless fame-w**** like Royce White.

Seriously, the kid showed a little bit in his time with the Rockets/Vipers. Hopefully someone will give him a shot.

Maybe he can help bring TMac a ring in China.

The question: Which ex-Rocket was not good enough to make it in the D-League?

I don't care if he is undersized or he lacks a offensive game. He's much less a liability than Royce White. At least this kid plays, shows up in training, doesn't refuse going to the D-League, or shore up behind-the-scenes drama for his own gains.

Good luck to Machado. I'm sure there's room somewhere for a pure point guard like him.

Your five minutes of playing time will be sorely missed.

All Scott needs to know is that the current starting PG for the Rockets were cut by the same team just about a year ago.

Anybody want to volunteer for the highlight reel? I think I found some footage of him tearing off his warmups in a blowout win over Memphis. In another clip, he high fives a teammate. And I think in this one, he's drinking some water. Good stuff. He's drinking that water with the skill of at least a second or third-year player. No spills, just clean, efficient sipping.

Put a beat on that and you're set.

Scotty never really got a chance with the Rockets. He needs to work on his jump shot. Best wishes to him.
