Bar none...I am so pissed by our turnout for tonight's game. Not to mention half of the people didn't even wear the red shirts that was "given" to them at the game. SMH...

Yeah, I was surprised too. I at least expected it to be packed since of the whole ESPN game thing... nope.

Not really. I am just of our crowd being pissy. I know this is a football town, but we are in a playoff race. We should be selling out from now until the playoffs.

We should seriously move the Red Rowdies into the front sections to make it look like our arena has a pulse. It will be a blow to ticket profits, but it's so much better than watching a sea of red seats at opening tip off.

I just don't understand how tonight's game sold out, yet we still saw loads of empty seats. What the hell is that all about?

That's what I'm trying to say.
I actually moved over a couple of seats because some of the rowdies didn't show up. I wish we did move up in the front sections. We need people to get loud at games. Not sit their like statues.

    Exactly what I thought.

We win 4 games on the road, get a good crowd on a weekday.

Next game, a nationally televised game, suddenly everyone shows late. As for the shirts, all it takes is for a few people not to wear them and everyone follows. Typical fairweather fans.

    Toyota Center Crowd

Aside from our beloved Red Rowdies, the Rockets have one of the most unenthusiastic crowds in the NBA. Not much of a homecourt advantage if you ask me. Even with an overacheiving team this season, suspense playoff push with less than 10 games games to go against the 9th seed who's just a couple of games behind us on a nationally televised game on ESPN... Still saw a good number of empty seats with free T-Shirts and a library-esque atmosphere.

Don't know the exact numbers but i believe we rank at the bottom when it comes to sell-outs and ticket sales in general.

Probably why JVG came up with the red rowdies idea then. To bring in some much needed enthusiasm at the TC.

Hate to say this but our home crowd/arena is just a boring one. Just sad.

I didn't expect the lower bowl people to wear it. they never do. I never understood why they go crazy for the t shirt toss, but can't go crazy for one that's on their cushy 26 inch seat.

The most hilarious thing to me was in the beginning of the game the camera was panned in really close so you could barely see past the 2nd row.

Um..thats the point of going to the game is to support the team and show your emotions. This isn't a lecture at school or anything. URG..im pissed about all our fairweather fans

The fans are usually late b/c the traffic is terrible. If you live in Houston, you know what I'm talking about.

I listen to 4 different sports stations and they all talk about football. Football rules here and that's just the way it is. Until the Rockets can prove that they are a consistently good basketball team instead of a tease, they will continue to get the results they are getting. I know that's ironic considering the Texans have only gone to the playoffs once, but Texans love their football.
