    I don't care if Payton was 100% recovered.
    I don't think there was any way in hell they were going to give a 36 yr old QB
    a 28 Mill roster bonus when they have his replacement on the Draft board.

    The injury is a conveinent excuse but . . .. '

    I just don't see how they would have allowed that to happen
    Indy is NOT close to a superbowl IMO . . and they are old and need to rebuild

    Colts have released Curtis Painter, Gary Brackett, Dallas Clark, Joseph Addai, Melvin Bullitt.

    Raiders have released CB Chris Johnson

    I think dallas clark is not done, he still could be good for a team needing a TE.

    I agree. He had injuries last year and a terrible QB. He still has a little tread on those tires.
