AB is getting better at end of game situations it seems.

I would like that type of situation to be more team oriented though. We seem content to ISO too much now.

anyways, this was a H-U-G-E win for the rockets and if the spurs and blazers loose tonight too it makes it even sweeter.

But yes, Brooks is way more clutch when he opts to shoot instead of drive.

The Brooks isn't Clutch issue arose after a long stretch of games where Brooks would squander away crucial possessions by driving into 3 defenders.

 

Crazy D'Antoni match ups.. Gallo actually did a good job on AB the whole game.. He isn't as quick as Ab but his length more than made up for that.. Ab just couldn't get by him he couldn't even see the basket.. He might as well been blind folded on that hook shot which makes it even more spectacular.

 

Noon games are strange, a lot of players struggle...

I was not surprised to see some of our guys having problems.

Nice job by AB to close it out, and Lowry to keep us in....

Well galinari played decent defense on brooks. But AB just killed it

 

That was such as BS call on Lowry.

 

Brooks is just unbelievable. Cold the whole game, not doing much setting up his teamates. All of sudden, gets hot, becomes the hero of the game.

 

I think both of our PGs were heroes.

Bullard makes the game so much better to watch than Clyde does. You can actually learn something for the game of basketball instead of listening to Clydes giggle.

 

Actually it was after he missed a jumpshot. Almost from the get-go late in games this season, he has attacked the basket to force the action and make the referee make the call. Well, the ref did make the call, a no-call, and the result was a tougher shot that didn't go down. I guarantee you T-Mac was vilified for not doing the same thing and missing jump shots during his tenure here. I dont have a breakdown for Brooks, but he drives more than he pulls up. He has hit several late buckets to tie/lead/extend/catch-up or whatever.

Tonight though, it was a bit of everything. The defender was off of him on the 3. Then he drove and hit the hook/runner. Then the ridiculous pullup 21 footer with DG in his face.

For what it's worth: The OP made a stupid thread based on a small statistical anomoly and tried to extrapolate not hitting clutch shots in certain situtations to not hitting clutch shots at all.
