With DD reaching over 60,000 posts, are we due to say he is a high volume scorer? He takes too many posts to make his point?
Clutch thacabbage IROC MadMax Rockets2k moes sometimes Are some of my favorites. DD has definitely changed Cfans but I can't say he's the greatest poster ever.
Absolutely. The other day I counted by clicking on the "amount of posts in a thread by each poster" how many posts DD had made in TMac threads ONLY on the front page. He had made over 35 posts on the front page alone.
^^ Right now it's at 82, and that's only in threads with some variant of TMac in the title on the front page. CRIKEY.
Wow - another DD bash thread, I am the Tmac of the BBS. And I have lots of good posts, I just like to make people work to find them. A treasure hunt if you will. DD
Rep feature says.........almost. Moes and Yoyo trying to keep his greatness down. Gogo DaDa -- show the youngsters how it's done! As the great Gretzky said: "you miss 100% of the shots you don't take" .
I never thought I'd see Maggette in the same sentence as "greatest ever." Anyway, it's senseless to argue about greatest poster (unless someone wants to take up my cause). There's lots of good folks on here but DaDa is definitely an impact player and a perennial All-Star. He's much like Moses, who might miss 4 or 5 shots in one possession but also works hard enough to rebound and shoot again until he scores.
Speaking from personal experience, just because you have a ****load of posts or an insanely high PPD average doesn't mean you're a great poster. It just means you have a lot of free time on your hands. To me the greatest poster would be the person who has the highest ratio of quality posts to overall posts.
speaking from personal experience the quality posts are those with song lyrics Traveling in a fried-out combie On a hippie trail, head full of zombie I met a strange lady, she made me nervous She took me in and gave me breakfast And she said, "Do you come from a land down under? Where women glow and men plunder? Can't you hear, can't you hear the thunder? You better run, you better take cover."
