Seriously now! How come Obama is untouchable on this board??? Everytime someone has an inch of negativity for him, this board flares up in hysteria! Then when we post anything negative about Palin and McCain, it is celebrated. Double standard shall we say?
No... just the majority opinion at this time. It wasn't this one-sided for the past elections... but at this point, thanks to the last 8 years, one side was at a disadvantage long before the race even started.
It's nothing new. It's been that way for as long as I can remember. There are a lot of liberals on this site. It's like the media and all it's poo flinging....I tend to stay out of it.
It's when people come with made up or meaningless charges against Obama that the board flares up. Ayers, and ACORN are silly charges with plenty of material out there to counter act those charges. If you'd like to stick around and find articles and point out flaws in the attacks on McCain you'd be more than welcome. However this is a debate and discussion board. When people don't agree with an article they will dispute it with counter articles.
show me some negativity for Obama that doesnt show up as FALSE on SNopes and then we can talk. That's why I laugh when I see people whine about how nobody takes their Obama criticisms seriously...how bout coming up with some that arent patently false or that dont take a HUGE leap to get there? I mean, come on guys...I've stated it several times on here...I have much disdain for all politicians(means Im not lefty or right), so Im not just gonna believe the crap without checking it out. I look for the facts to determine who to believe. I gotta say....on my personal scoreboard....it is most certainly the right that is pushing the most lies this election cycle. Sure doesnt make me inclined to vote for em....and I am exactly who they should be courting, a interested voter who has no political affiliation, but does check facts.
I am not about to do any math cause I don't care that much but I would agree that "tax cut" is an incorrect name for increasing the tax credits. I also agree that his marginal tax increase between 90K to 120K looks a bit to high.
So now posting an article that flatly contradicts the original article is hysteria? Do you have a problem with facts being shown?

Um, yes there are more liberals on this board, but what is your ideal D&D supposed to be? That people don't say "no, that's a lie" when something is a blatant lie? Just roll over and let people lie? There may not be as many conservatives, but they react the same way when people hammer McCain and Palin, they just don't always have the facts on their side because the facts have a liberal bias.
