Who is this guy?

http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/draft/prospects/693

Strengths: Landry was known for his strong play inside during his college career. He scores his points with a great combination of smarts, strength and finesse. He often established position deep in the trenches and carved out space to get his shots. He has great hands, outstanding footwork and great touch around the hoop. He features a sweet turnaround jumper he can utilize if he can’t back down his man.

Weaknesses: Landry has worked hard on his body since finishing his season at Purdue, but he still has a ways to go before this area is NBA-ready. His defensive anticipation and positioning need to improve as well.

Outlook: Landry helped himself by measuring out to be a legit 6’8” but he didn’t exactly separate himself during the pre-draft camps. He will give himself a great chance to land in the second round with strong private workouts.

Thanks for the scoop, Jeff.

DraftExpress had us picking him with the #54 pick in their mock draft. I guess we couldn't take the chance.

Well I guess this is Morey at work. Picking guys we've never heard of, based on stats.

WTF??

When I saw this dude get drafted by the Sonics in the 2nd round I was like "who the hell is this guy? HA!"

What the heck? I dont get it. Why not get "Big Baby" Davis then?

Rockets draft incompetence never ceases to amaze me .

Wow.

Landry is just an inch taller than Hayes. He has problems defending the low post due to his lack of size and athleticism - nonfactor on the perimeter.

Plus he is most effective on the low block, Yao's spot.

This trade is as baffling as the the Brooks pick.

Landry is legit.
Don't hate on a guy just because you don't know who he is.

None sense. The team need a Power Forward, not a Weak Forward.

Not really sure if McRoberts fits the bill either. He's slow laterally at best. Landry needs to work on his strength to play with NBA guards, but that trade is not bad.

you screw your pick by taking a 5'11" 160 lb. PG that won't even make the team, so you try to make up for up by trading for another teams draft mistake

i bet seattle starting laughing their ass off when morey made the call and offered them money for that guy...

LOL way to go morey... way to botch your 1st draft
