On the night of the De Lahoya vs Mayweather Big Fight, it’s Jeff Van Gundy who got knocked out in the first round. What a lousy job of coaching even the end of the game he doesn't prepare them to foul. No more excuses for all his blind supporters. Fire him tonight and get it over with. His supporters cry the Rockets don’t have enough talent that they are the stupidest team in the league that it’s not the coaches fault they miss shots and make turnovers. But that’s it… no more passing the buck. The Rockets have 2 of the most dominant players in the league, an NBA USA team member and they have home court advantage. It is the coaches fault. He may be intelligent but he is not clutch. He doesn't have the heart to coach Yao. No more excuses fire him now!

Gundy Lovers. Come out and play.

Gundy made the bed with those players he brought in.

Now he must sleep in it with them.

  i'm speechless. that was the stupidest execution ever. jvg has got to think straight. hell, i want paul silas. that was terrible. 4 minute left up by 5. wtf do you do? jack up shots? hell no, you waste time. no fouling was also dumb, trying to get a steal was impossible. tracy, i'm srry, but you have to wait one more year. hell, maybe you'll never make it. i'm getting worried of morey, being a rookie. crud. this is just stupid.

The first major change should be JVG getting fired. But I have a feeling he's going to resign. I've never really been a fan of JVG and if they bring him back next year, it's clear the Rox organization has no clue.

This should be the only gain from this season - getting rid of JVG.

    Just one question -

JVG has won a conference championship with an eight seeded team, done quite well in the playoffs over his career as an assistant and head coach.

Tracy McGrady, Yao Ming, Shane Battier, Luther Head, etc. have won a combined ZERO playoff series.

Is it really ALL his fault? What are the Rockets going to do, turn into the Warriors or Suns all of sudden with a new coach? As long as Yao and Tracy are on this team and the leaders, toughness and a winning no-matter-what mentality will always be a concern for the Rockets.
