What do we do with JVG? i admire his love for defense but i simpley can't watch his basketball style with this team quite honestly it's 'unwatchable'.

we want exciteing Basketball not boring Basketball.

JVG brings boring basketball and quite honestly it tends to have a blackhole with this team, i mean this is the same guy who has love for Ryan Bowen

i love Jeff but i think it's time to let him go simpley because we won't go anywhere with his style of play.

Boomer, as a frustrated Rockets fan right now i simpley have no good say right now about the Rockets, i do have faith we will be alot BETTER next year.

i just think JVG's style of play is holding this team back a bit im not the only one who realizes this aswell.

With all the injuries this year, there's no way management's going to blame JVG. And guess what? They shouldn't. There's no way he won't be back.

This isn't about the Injury, it's his style of play i just don't think we'll be sucessful with it.

Unless Jeff changes his style of play we'll only be a playoff team, which isn't satifiying.

some people might disagree but alot more people will agree Jeff has a style that isn't fitable for this team.

JVG is a defensive specialist, but has ways to kill the team with his style of play.

i like JVG and i will support him if we let him go but his system needs to change if we expect a Championship.

Stop it, you do not know bball better than JVG. This season is caused by injuries, not JVG. He is a very fine coach

Man, we are not blaming his style.

But how many stupid trades he has made. I don't wanna see any oooooooold stupid former knicks and those wide open brickers. I missed Barry, I can't bear those stupid trades. Fire JVG together with his boys.

This thread is about "battle of the Rookies"

Us pros have a similar thread. It should be going around as "Fire JVG Part XII"

Once you rookies have gained 500 experience points, donated $$ to the tip jar, and sacrificed your first born, you will be invited to that thread.

    Until then, keep dueling here.

Kind of like how we weren't successful last year?

Give me a break. Until the Seattle game, this team couldn't knock down a freaking outside shot to save their own lives. I've never seen more bricks in my life. JVG isn't telling the guards to clank wide open 3's. They miss them on their own. As if that isn't enough, they don't have T-Mac to help open up shots. Yao can only do so much.

But your right, it's JVG's fault.

IS it just me, or do these noobs love to start threads?

This guy right here has started more threads in his first week than I have the entire time I have been here.(the video threads dont count:p)

    Note to the new guys....

I know the reg screen asks if you think you can contribute....but that doesnt necessarily mean post a thread every time a thought pops into your head...look past the first page and see if there is an existing thread your thought can go in...there is more than one page in this forum ya know.

oh btw...exciting basketball has not proven itself to be a winning philosophy...it looks great and may bring alot of wins in the reg season...but when you want playoff success...you go to defensive battles.

VG will be back...I will bet you ANY amount of money on that.
