So we play Denver in the game that the starters play the most? That could get ugly.

    4-0!

Did Peyton even play last preseason? Even if he does I bet he won't go more than a quarter.

Reminds me of how good we looked last preseason: the Defense and the young RB's. We looked dominant, I was pumped.

    Then the regular season started...

    Then the regular season started...

...Matt Schaub threw an INT the first play of the season and it was downhill from there.

Well Schaub did get 2 game winning drives to start the season, but the defense was pretty horrible the entire season, and Schaub couldn't go a game without throwing a pick. Pretty much everything fell apart after the defense choked away the Seahawks game and Cushing went down.

The defense choked away the Seahawks game?

Please, try to make your agenda pushing less obvious.

How did they not choke away the game? The Texans were up 20-3 at halftime.....all they had to do was not give up 17 points in a half and the game would be over....they couldn't do it. Now sure a Schaub pick 6 hurt, but there is no excuse for the defense allowing a 98 yard drive against a weak Seattle offense. If the defense did their job, the Texans would have won. It's really hard to ask more than 355 yards from a QB like Schaub against a secondary like the Seahawks and it was sad to watch the defense squander that performance.

Denver has likely already missed their best chance to win it all.

You're right, the defense did not give up 17 points in that half, they gave up 10.

Okay....so I guess that makes it better then? They choked down the stretch giving up a 98 yard TD drive against a weak offense and then gave up the 3 in OT to seal the game. How is it you can't see that they choked? Is it that you think that Schaub should have thrown for more than 355 yards against the best secondary in the league rather than have a supposedly good defense stop a weak offense?

Defense and entire stadium was deflated after that Schaub pick 6 I don't blame them for giving up 3 in OT, likewise that's what happened the whole season. The defense as a unit quit on Schaub, Kubiak etc.

Defense did not choke in that game at all. They were good enough to win.

So you are excusing the defense's failure and blaming it on Schaub and Kubiak? Fair enough, there is room in the world for all kinds of crazy opinions.

I agree, just like how you believe Schaub is better than Flacco.

That's not a belief, that's an obvious fact. Schaub was a better QB than Flacco was. There is no opinion to it.

Debatable. I think more gms would take Joe since he has the bigger arm.
