22.3 min per game, 9.3 pts per game, 4.5 rebounds a game. he could be a useful player on a good team. if we send him to the raptors i can imagine him doing pretty well in a bench role.

Hmmm i wonder guys. Assigning yourself with the ability to tell the future and repeatedly insisting on it..is a trait of narcissism , megalomania, delusion or just plain trolling?

Depends on if you're right or not. I'm eagerly awaiting that first rounder from Toronto, Sistah Narcy.

He's actually been better than usual? Still can't shoot.

The perfect Robin for Harden's Batman. But Harden will have to accept him or it'll never happen. Rubio would ignite this team and along with Harden, Ariza, Dwight, DMo, Smoove, and whatever other quality vets we could get in trade would propel us into the playoffs and probably to a conference finals match up with either the dubs or spurs.

LeBatard was discussing his expectations for the Heat to make a rather large move this Deadline as Riley wants to win NOW not in the near future, likely having to part with Winslow as a result. He also mentioned that the Heat are growing tired of Whiteside, and that they need more shooting.

I don't know how to make the salaries match, but would a Winslow/Deng/Whiteside-centered deal (obviously with a few more large contracts) for Howard/Thornton/Ariza interest Houston fans? In terms of 2016 potential, the sacrifice would be minimal, and we'd create a very young team. Not a huge fan of "blowing it up", but this is one of the few returns I would take for our 2 best Vets sans Harden.

    Dear holic,

We are not gonna get a first round pick for Jones unless its the 30th pick.

Rubio doesnt score. Lawson is a better scorer. How do you expect Rubio to work nezt to Harden when Lawson isn't?

    Kind regards

I was thinking the same thing today. But I doubt they would take on Howard even though he is mildly less of a headache than Whiteside

I am not a fan of trading Dwight, but this is probably the best package I've seen as far as helping Houston. I don't know how the other teams value the trade.

I dont trust Whiteside. The only reason he's a thing is Miami media. Decent defender, good shot blocker. Complete knucklehead. Deng is decent. Probably a good player to have. Winslow is a wildcard. Good expectations, from Houston, nice size but it's going to take some time for him to develop.

We get younger, sure. I dont mind shedding Marcus Thornton because he's not very good at defense, something we really need. I think giving up Dwight and Ariza is bad. They are great defensive options. I just can't see the trade being that good for Houston. I don't know how well those players contribute to Miami, I do not have them on LP. Stats-wise Winslow looks terrible, but I understand he's a rook so ill lay off him :p

TLDR: No, I don't do the trade. I just dont think we're too far away from being in the mix and this takes us further away, for now. We need a legit 4.
