Basically dekker , Harrell and McDaniel can battle it out for a spot with the big club in preseason

Dekker will bust out, I'm sure of it. Montrezl is a little raw still and may spend most of the season in D-League, and McDaniel may not make it to preseason.

If nothing happens between now and season start it will be Brewer and behind him the 6-8 Euro Sensation Big Papa. I want to see Papanikolaou get another shot in our rotation.

Do you say Dekker will break out or be a bust. You know he was taken a low 1st rounder.... not much expectations there

Meant break out, I suppose. I don't have high expectations, but there's something about his game and savvy that makes me think he'll exceed current expectations.

He's got good court awareness, has fluid movement with the ball and good handles, loves running on fastbreak, can shoot well under greater pressure as shown by his TS% going up during the tournament and he's a SF that can play stretch 4. I hate to keep using the Parsons comparison but there's some truth to it.

    Mark Bartelstein?

Wasn't that Parsons' agent before he canned him and signed with Fegan?

    Time is a flat circle...

And he made the same mistake again. 2 option years? (I'd assume these are team options). Dekker will can him in a couple of years too. Book it! :)

It'll be fun to revisit this in 3 years when Dekker is a Maverick on a drastic overpay

I'm sure at least one of you (and maybe all three) realize that Dekker is signing a standard first round rookie scale contract, right? Dekker's deal is actually for 120% of rookie scale, the absolute most that he is eligible to sign for under the CBA. And the team options are mandated by the CBA as well.

Forgive me if I'm missing the sarcasm, but either (a) you are not being sarcastic, in which case you need to be educated; or (b) you are being sarcastic, but many here will not realize it and get confused.

I'm pretty sure we're aware. I was just sharing my observation, but thanks for laying it all out
