Sorry no post-game thread... ended up staying at Hooters to watch the game. Great time. Here's Aaron Brooks' game-winner... <object width="640" height="505"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Tos_PvTNhlY&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Tos_PvTNhlY&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="505"></embed></object>
Thanks Clutch. What a great shot. Anthony Carter can't stay too closely as AB might just blow by him for a layup.
Despite being out there missing the game, I did watch the highlights from EPSN and saw that clutch move of his, great game and great win for the Rockets. AB FTW!
Hats off to AB. You know, for a guy who has missed so many of those this year, it takes a LOT of confidence in yourself; it almost takes some sort of a killer instinct. To put yourself in that position over and over and trust in yourself is really something to be noted. He will only get better in those moments. He was really good at that in college and I think that this year was huge for him and us to be able to see if that will translate into his NBA game. I am not trying to have a knee-jerk reaction, because I understand his effectiveness (or lack of) in those situations this season. But, the guy has some potential to hit plenty more game winners in the future.
5-0 when I attend games...Red Nation! Maybe clutchfans can chip in and hook up some season tickets so we can go undefeated at home next year. Oh, It wasn't any sissy teams either....OKC the night we broke out the mustard and catch ups, bought a Budinger jersey, Dallas, Portland, Denver and....The last one is escaping me. Anyway, love the Rockets win or lose.
Everyone who watches the Rockets knows they always run the same play at the end. 1-4 Iso for Brooks....and this time it worked. Brooks was clutch.
Did anyone watch Luis post-game comments on Rockets.com when he was asked about his emotions when AB made this shot? "I want to kiss you but no I'm not" HAHAHA
