I thought Portland could handle the Warriors and maybe even split because of no Curry.

Nope. After seeing their games against a Clipper team without Paul and Blake I think this will be a 5 game series at most.

I think Lillard actually plays better when Curry is in front of him. Will be an interesting matchup with Livingston. Doubt they can put Lillard on him on defense, or he'll be in the post the entire time... but who can they hide him on?

Yeah Livingston is going to eat him alive and the Warriors probably have the best set of perimeter defenders in the league to slow those two down.

My guess is he'll start on Barnes, who will try to post him up too, but he isn't nearly as effective as Livingston down there.

Curry is reportedly ahead of schedule. He could make the second game. Blazers have no chance once Curry is ready.

That may be pushing it... Game 2 is on Tuesday... even being ahead of schedule, I'd be surprised if he was back before game 4, and only if that was a must-win.

We'll see, if the Warriors when both games 2-0 then there will be no need to rush him back. A sprain knee has a chance at re-injury so the Blazers are going to have to force their hand. I hope he does make it back, injuries already robbed us of Clippers-GSW matchup and hopefully won't rob us of any more.

Undervaluing the heart and determination of the Clippers reserves. They left it all out there.

This second round match-up is going to be a lot closer than many predict.

We'll see, Blazers don't have the bench, experience, or fire power to challenge them.

This could've been us in the second round if:
    A) We didn't mess around for the first 3/4's of the season.
    B) We didn't play Brewer over Beasley.
    C) We had someone who could coach on the sideline.
    D) If Ty Lawson learnt how to play sober.
    E) If our 'Shooters' could actually shoot...

But unfortunately we didn't take the regular season seriously, and we're done.

    Thanks Obama...

I'm not underestimating the Blazers, I'm just very aware that the Warriors are historically great.

    Warriors sweep.

You got a guy like Lillard. He's going to get the job done. He saw a wounded roster, took full advantage of it and slayed to the death!

I've said a lot, but the only point guard (other than Curry of course) that I would consider trading Mike Conley for is Damian Lillard.

    The guy is a winner.

Port has no chance in this series. They're over achieving season ends here pretty easily. Good season though led by the rising backcourt
