Rose is just icing the whole season. Hope he makes another come back but it would be a disservice to guys like Butler, Gasol, Gibson, (Slavic 6'10 guy), and Noah to say that they couldn't compete. With Brooks and Heinrich they are still set to compete without a doubt.
4-6 weeks recovery. Should be back for the playoffs.

Bulls GM Gar Forman estimated return at 4-6 weeks.
— K.C. Rose is going to destroy his knees. Still, I guess this is the best year the Bulls got to compete for a championship...
In terms of this season, Rose, on a net basis is barely more effective than Brooks at this point so I don't think it really hurts them that much on the court.

Premature ejaculation, I told you guys about that time and time again. He's not close to retiring and will be back just in time for the playoffs and he will destroy all. Don't count him out. Never count anyone out, especially Rose.
He's not going to destroy anything, he hasn't looked anything like his former self this season. Now he's going to be more tentative when he comes back
"Bulls GM Gar Forman, Rose estimated return at 4-6 weeks." Translation: If Rose isn't back in 4-6 weeks, then he is dogging it again and blame him. I see you Gar!
Skip B on first take describes this as a minor surgery. He even said a a lot of nfl players have the same surgery all the time and are back in 3 weeks most the time. Even said he's had the same surgery 3 times and it's no problem

They probably realized the meniscus would cause problems again and again and it's easier to just cut it out. Still a desperate move though, especially since he talked so much about being alle to have a normal life and being able to walk (after his injury before this one). Probably thinks they're contenders and wants to sacrifice everything for two more years of basketball.
Glad Skip was able to recover after 3 weeks and get back to sitting in a chair and talking/writing about sports.
