you realize Dwight has a 9'3.5 standing reach? you realize Asik has a 9'4 standing reach? What makes Dwight so great defensively is he has the mobility and explosiveness of a smaller player, with the length of someone like Asik. So despite Asik being what, possible 4 inches taller than Dwight, this translates to a mere half an inch standing reach? you don't play basketball with the top of your head.
Ha. I made a basket with the top of my head once. To be fair, someone else actually threw the ball, but I was the last one to touch it.

Do you have nothing better to do than bump this thread for no reason? You did the same crap at the top of page 437.
Jeremy Lin finished the season as a 36% 3pt shooter, which is almost exactly the same as Patrick Beverley's rate. His TO rate also slightly dipped from last year while his FG% went up. They're not dramatic changes, but he's been improving in the ways that the team needs him to improve.
His TO dipped because he is playing 3 less minutes than last season. Per 36 minute wise, his TO ratio is still the same. The bigger problem is his assist numbers have dropped noticeably, so his assist/TO ratio got worse. However, he has made improvements to his scoring efficiency.
As far as Lin is concerned, I think Trailblazers is a good team for him to be playing against. IMO, this is he best team you can ask for, if you are a Lin fan. Blazers as a team does not defend well and Damien and Mo themselves are poor defenders. Lin can and should be aggressive against that porous Blazers defense. If Lin performs well in this series, it should boost confidence for the rest of the playoffs, provided Rockets move on.
Lin's 3pts% and FT% are 47.4% and 90.5% within the last 9 games. http://espn.go.com/nba/player/splits/_/id/4299/jeremy-lin Thank to McHale's rotation, people don't notice he is on fire recently.
lol....you mention his reduced playing time for his improved TO rate but not for his reduced assist total? not to mention his switch to a SG now? the guy will never be good as long as he keeps getting shuffled every which way. That's pretty obvious.
The percentages are nice, but I want the ATTEMPTS to go up as well. That's where you get a really really productive Lin.
