KPap is a savy vet rookie. He doesn't need mins in the D-League. He needs to continue working on his 3pt shot and stay ready for when his number is called.

The judgement is based on the goal of this team now, which is to win the championship.

When the options will be : Ariza, Brewer or Kpap?

    Or Dmo/TJ/Josh or Kpap?

The answer is very clear. He will not get any meaningful minutes in most games, simply because he did not earn it yet and we are not in a situation to wait for him to prove it.

Whether he will become a decent NBA player? Not sure.

Hey, if you will put Chandler Parsons with his rookie year in this current Rockets team? He may end up with the same fate of getting almost no playing time.

Its not about him, its more about us.

    Right-now is the operating word.

If you compare Brewer's numbers now, last six games, that he's settling down and his shooting starts to resemble his career norms, with Papa's stats in the six games before he got injured, they are very comparable.

7.5 pts vs 9.5 pts, Papa was shooting 50% fg but he had an abysmal 17% 3p and 25% ft, he's a better rebounder, about the same number of assists per minute, but of course the stats that hurts him the most is the turnovers, and of course defense wise Corey's a much better thief and Kosta is a little better blocker, weirdly.

Unfortunately the injury has set him back very much.

This is the worse, subjective, selective stats comparison I have ever seen.

This is even worse than the LOF's posts last year.

Brewer provides more speed and athleticism. Eventually Pap will provide better shooting and some creating ability

Agreed. Brewer is in the rotation ahead of KPap. Brewer probably will opt out and chase money elsewhere so if kPap is still here he'll take the backup wing role next season. I like kPap and think he's one of those guys that's basically a winner. Seems to fit that spurs mold. I like those guys.

He's really good at ball movement. Just needs to get adjusted to the faster NBA game and he'll be solid

When we can look at our bench and other than Dorsey our worst bench player is Papa/Alexey that's saying a whole lot right now. Morey has done a great job pulling a rabbit out of his majic hat in December. On top of that Jones should be returning shortly. Alexey might be an X factor in the end as well.

Let's not forget KPap is still a rookie. He'll be that much better his second year.

Will the broken shot ever be fixed?

Yup, he is a good player without a shot, but boy If he ever got a shot he would be scary.

I'd rather have Josh Smith shooting 3s at this point

Ugh - it is hard to watch Pappa, Ariza or Smith shoot a 3 these days - just cringe worthy.
