and it might be one of the best covers I've ever heard. it starts out rough...but ends of up full of win. <object width="480" height="295"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/hXlzci1rKNM&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/hXlzci1rKNM&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="295"></embed></object>
He wasn't horrible, but I wasn't that impressed. In my opinion the asian guy playing the George Harrison on the ukulele is the best cover ever. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Hh8Q2XRRNrM&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Hh8Q2XRRNrM&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Clearly the best cover of any song ever: <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/XAg5KjnAhuU&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/XAg5KjnAhuU&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
this is true, but his raspy voice and range is what makes the cover seem brilliant. everything is in key. If you can't hear the hidden emotion, you probably don't have a pulse. 1:48 to to 2:40 is unreal. either way, it seems Obadiah Parker has been out of work for awhile: <object width="320" height="265"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/c745E7T_Wvg&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/c745E7T_Wvg&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="320" height="265"></embed></object>
well.. this certaintly explains your indie fandom.. there was nothing "unreal" about that.. it wasn't bad.. but it wasn't good to the point where one could lucidly consider it "unreal".. people of these modern, easily-impressed-times, need to reaquaint themselves with the word "Bad" and it's main countering antonym.. "amazing" isn't it..

coming from the proverbial CF **** talker, your opinion means very little. Especially when you use terms like "indie fandom". there is a vast difference between indie music and post rock. fool. the "unreal" claim comes from the singers range, there is nothing close to the struggles hidden in his voice one hears in any pop music arrangement. Thats what makes it unreal. would you like a lesson in music appreciation Hmm...??? I'm here, anytime you'd like to dance.
It's all good Moes. it's not like this topic isn't subjective at all. I just thought some people would get a kick out of some bum layin down a killer cover of an otherwise mediocre song. plus... my indie stock should be through the roof right now......my God, I'm referencing HOMELESS PEOPLE!! nobody has heard of Mustard the bum!!! NOBODY!!!
The homeless reference + sneaking in a reference to how much "Creep" sucks because of its mainstream success was impressive. +2. You're back on top bro. Back on top.
hmm.. laughable.. I see now where your praise stems.. overestimation driven by over-involved pseudo-artsy-fartsy emotion, directed by a misguided bias-intellect, founded on the "rock-solid" self-distorted construing of generally accepted misinformed, taught pop-garbage, upheld by an overzealous stand to decry the same..? mmm... well, you have me there.. i call the profound extension of the fruits of your lessons.. and raise you a flat 12 inch ruler.. and your so-called "challenge" to "dance" .. with the curly shuffle.. are we now deflecting responsibility of our own raving claims as well, by adducing the ever technically sound end-all suppositions of modern genre labels..? touche..? what's next..? his burly rebelliousness to all that is proper hygiene stands as an exemplary accentuation to all that is the true artist's expression of musically free brilliance, of course.. not found in modern pop presentation..?
