Please, please, please do not bring up Dedmon's name as a fix for our Center problem. The fact that we are in a bidding war over this absolute scrub is what has convinced me that the team no longer cares about 2016. He averaged 5 points a game in college. We are not closely bad enough to think of tanking. You never know with Dantoni though, he might just go full offense and scrap defense and we might lose more than we thought we would lose.
I think it's going to be hard for anyone to break into the backcourt rotation. Beverly Harden Gordon better than seasons for sure

Patience....as every other team in the league adds pgs and centers forthe cheap and we sit on our asses. We are being way to patient. Should have grabbed Rondo or Jennings or Curry or Hibbert or ZeZe or Bogut or etc. We are getting too far behind in the race. Sadly, the Mavs added three good players today and now have a better team than us. But you are right keep fantasizing that we are saving the money for Llull.
Free agency started like four days ago. Chillax man! There's plenty of time to address those positions. Also, I wouldn't rule out the possibility of Gordon starting next to Harden. Even if he doesn't start there, I think he'll certainly play in a lost of lineups next to him. As for center, if they add a serviceable backup veteran to share minutes with Capela, they'll be in OK shape. But don't rule out trades. There are literally months left before the season starts. And I'm guessing Morey will pull off at least one significant trade to shake up the roster before the offseason ends.
PG seems pretty obvious to me. It's either sign Llull or trade for Rubio. Center also isn't all that complicated. We're looking for a backup. Either we sign Dedmon or trade for a guy like Koufos. The bigger question to me is how do Ariza and Beverley fit into our new system, and if they don't, what can we get for them?
How is Capela not a center?? He will easily be 10-10 with 2 blocks per game in 25 minutes this year. He was bettr defensively than Howard last year at C. What is the issue??? The kid is really good, and if he makes another step forward we are talking Whiteside numbers...
Good. Having teams easily getting Dwight out on a guard with a simple pick and roll, or forcing a switch and posting up Jason Terry crippled us. I predict our most effective lineup will not contain a true pg or center. Something like Harden/Gordon/KJ/Ariza/best big (I would love for this to be Montrezl Harrell stepping up) Switch everything, gang rebound, then run.
Why do people keep saying we have no PG/backup PG? We still have Bev, and Gordon will clearly be playing a lot at the 1 (but playing more as a shooting guard on offense with Harden being the main ballhandler). The only real depth issue is if Gordon gets hurt again.
