Interesting. Guess it's safe to say who their free agent targets will be the following years:

15- Bev (12 mill per year, deal signed at Dave and Busters)
16 - Nick Johnson (10 mill per year, deal signed at strip club)
17 - Clint Capela (12 mill per year, deal signed at Monster Jam in Cuban's suite)
18 - NOP 1st Rd Pick in 2015 (12 mill per year, deal signed at Laser Tag)

Honestly though, outside the elite point guards. I wouldn't want anyone else on this team besides Beverley. He fits the system

If Beverly can get big time money from Cuban we should all feel happy for Bev.

    A couple of things-

    1) I'm so happy that we didn't get Rondo. I'm so happy the Mavs gave up some of their depth for this guy.

    2) Where do they find these guys? It is like they just found 3 random NBA fans to sit around and ramble and give their opinions and try to sound smart without actually saying anything definitive.

and 3) The Mavs big offseason target is Patrick Beverley???? HAHAHAHAHA

The moment Beverley steps in Dallas the media will say he is a top ten PG; say Cuban is a genius.

If Cuban came at Beverly hard in free agency and spent enough to eat up their capspace Morey would love it. It would be great news for those who want the Mavs to be irrelevant.

I love Bev and we know Morey does too but the guy is obviously the PG version of Chuch Hayes. You want to be the team who discovers the Chuck Hayes not the one that pays Chuck Hayes.

If Parsons and Bev are two of your top 3 highest paid players your not going far.

Actually I will be surprised if Beverley is brought back regardless. I think he will always hold a special place in our hearts but we will be Better off letting another team pay for the intangibles and feistiness. If he comes back at a bargain and waits for thr Rockets to make other moves first than great but I doubt it.

Well, we did well even after we lost Parsons. We'll be fine even without Beverley.

We need a PG upgrade anyway.

Like Palillo said, "Bev can't start for any of the playoff teams", so if Cuban wants to make Bev his starter next year, he might as well sell his team for pennies.

Wanting to be here is one thing. Usually in these situations they follow the $$.

Cuban can have him for 3 years, $45 million. The comedy value of that contract would vastly outweigh the loss of basketball value.
