    Oh, I remember Tony Brothers. That a-hole cost us Game 2 against Utah in 2008. And with that loss went the series.

    The sad reality is that there are just nights/games when the NBA is utterly without value. Just worthless.

    They're like land mines. You hope you don't step on them, but someone inevitably will.

    If you think about it, they've been screwing us since the Miami game. We were supposed to lose but LBJ couldn't finish the refs job. My opinion is the league doesn't want us becoming elite because they want GS to dominate the headlines this season

    We won't. We'll lose it by two games (the two we just lost that we should have won) or we'll lose it on the conference record tiebreaker with the Grizzlies, when we should have had the head-to-head tiebreaker.

    I fully support holding refs accountable. Now there will be data with these reports to evaluate refs and make changes accordingly. If you blow a call like last night, there should be infraction points that result in suspension or ultimately the removal of a subpar ref.

    Fines are meaningless. I'd resort to more interesting and traditional methods. Egregious wrong call? Tarred and feathered in public. Or put in stocks at the next home game of the screwed team where you get to be the communal garbage can for the stadium. It's amazing how well some old humiliation techniques would actually work so much better than just trying to hit someone's pocketbook.

    Since that's not going to happen, the only thing that can be done is to allow on-the-spot review of plays including fouls that can be forced by the coaches. Similar to challenge flags in the NFL, but including basically anything. Official, third-party review of officiating could also help.

    The Rockets now have 20 losses, 2-3 of which were heavily effected by the referees.

    Its pathetic that the referees can really be held even partially responsible for 10-15% of our total losses on the season.

    Exactly like the THREE post-game official apologies to the Rockets for 3 of the 6 games against Portland last play offs. Unreal.

    FWIW, a quick tally of all the incorrect calls so far has Houston in the lead. Which should surprise no one here.

    It will be interesting to see how it all plays out by seasons end once all teams have played the same amount of games.

    GSW haven't had any calls go against them yet.
