That's a great comparison. I was gonna say he's like a combination of Royce White's offensive ceiling combined with a prime Chuck Hayes defensively.
He plays defense extremely well. You'd be hard pressed to find a more versatile defender in the history of the NBA. Lebron may be able to play position 1-5 offensively and on most nights can defend 1-5 but at times he can be overmatched by a big center or PF. Green can defend 4s and 5s better than most 7 footers. He is a defensive powerhouse and deserves as much money as you would give to any defensive big man, like Deandre Jordan for instance. He's just as good, if not better, defensively. He's not as great of a rebounder but he adds so much more to the offense with playmaking and shooting. Someone will offer him a max and the Warriors will match.
Honestly, I put more value on Green than Parsons. Green can pass, run the break, score a bit and he is a good/great defender. Parsons got overpaid but I think Green is going to get 12-14M, easy.
One quibble: DAJ is slightly more valuable than Green. DAJ is the max value FA on the market. LOL at the trailer-trash who said the Rox could sign DAJ for the MLE.
overrated but he works with the GSW system and makes them better IMO. he goes elsewhere and he doesn't have as close as an impact like he does with GS.
He is looking good because of Steph and Klay's shooting abilities. He will be average on another team with no star. I can see the 76ers giving him big money.
I would pay $48 over 4 years for Draymond Green. $12 mil per year will be worth it with the rise of the cap.
depends who the other options are? with Harden and Howard would be great, Paul and Jordan, Irving and Lebron, Rose and Butler..... sure his 3 point shooting the playoffs has disappeared and he's a sneaky punk, but to those mentioning chandler's talent and/or as a comparison, get league pass and watch some non rockets games
