Why would Cuban make such a low ball offer? To insult Draymond?

He gave Parsons 46m/3yrs. I don't think Draymond is getting lower than that.

Only a Klansman would claim Green is worth only one-half what Parsons is.

Just so you guys know, Draymond is eligible to earn a max of $15.5m next year.

Only pennies less than Harden and $4m more than Curry!

Is he really worth as much as Parsons?

Green is going to get the max from someone, and GSW will match.

He's a weird player. He's the 2nd most important player on the best team in the NBA and has a rare skillset but you cant build around him.

I think he's a max player. My least favorite player probably, but I won't let my biases distort what I see.

Agreed. I think he's done a great job of making himself indispensable to GSW, but no way he could carry a team.

I agree, you obviously can't build around him, but he's one of those guys who can take you to a whole new level.

A ton of credit to the coaching staff, but he's been the biggest difference maker on both sides of the court.

I'd totally take the risk if I was Detroit or NYK

BTW, any talk about what he's worth begins and ends with the the new CBA in consideration. His max may be an overpay next year, but it is a good upper-mid salary from then on. What else would one of your big 3 command?

Draymond Green is a market Max player. LOL at people saying he is only worth 7-8M.

Draymond Green almost won defensive player of the year award and can play and defend the 3-4-5 positions. Guys like that don't grow on trees.

^ You'll be laughing at the Warriors then. They'll take it in stride while they polish their trophy.

i acknowledge it's the supply and demand on the open mkt that determines the price. basic economics. and green probably will get his max. and green is indeed a very gifted player.

that said, can i ask,,, what in particular does he do extremely well? i know he can a little bit of everything, but what is he really good at? defense, shooting, passing or rebounding?

    ^^

to me, he's just a utility guy, and a very very good one for that matter. but he's a max player maybe only for gsw and for what they do. i bet he wont be as effective if he moves on to any other team.

That would be a good get for the Mavs actually but how do they work out the minutes between him, Dirk, and Parsons

Draymond Green was voted 1st Team All Defense and had the most votes in Defensive Player of the year award (Kwahi won because he had more 1st place votes).

Defense is sometimes hard to quantify with raw stats. But he is a TWO WAY player and can guard multiple positions. Those types of players are hard to find in the NBA and thus they have a lot of value.
