Many have speculated a lot and have made their own scenarios etc.

I can promise you from the news I got today, Lowry is option 4.

    So really, option one. ;)

LeBron a long shot; A chance at 'Melo but a chance he also goes to Chicago(or elsewhere); Bosh follows LeBron/stays in Miami; and Lowry.

Anyone else worried that the Rockets might end up with an overpaid Bosh?

Nope, I think Bosh is the most unrealistic option out there.

He is staying in Miami if Lebron does and if Lebron doesn't stay in Miami I think he is joining Houston. No room for Bosh in that case.

Morey clearly isn't leaving this offseason empty handed. Just hope it is the right guys.

How well do they think he'll fit with Harden?

Man...look what the restricted signing of JLin/Asik did for us... confused the Thunder making them get rid of James Harden...year later, brought along Dwight Howard...year later...LBJ/Melo/Bosh/or Lowry...now if we can just get past the first round...:)

    Thanks for the info!

I could see the Rockets signing Kyle Lowry and trading for Ersan Ilyasova

Lowry? I guess they don't have too much faith in Cannan. Or Beverly with his injury.

If we can land Lowry at a reasonable price ($10-12mm per yr?) I'd be very happy.

Let's face it, the big 3 are all wild cards at this point. For Morey to pull off any big signing, including Lowry, given our cap situation, would be a feat.

Are they approaching Lowry as an option that would allow to just dump Lin and still hold onto Asik? Seems like they could pretty easily create around $11M by trading Lin and Jones/DMo, but still keep Asik.

Maybe the same with Bosh? Although that seems like a real longshot.

Do y'all remember when people started going emo when Morey matched Cleveland's offer for Lowry? Morey haters came out in full force for him overpaying a backup point guard. Good times.

[rquoter]CLEVELAND -- The Cavaliers have been rejected again.

The team's attempt to sign free agent Kyle Lowry was rebuffed Wednesday when the Rockets matched Cleveland's offer sheet to the veteran point guard. Cleveland's package was a three-year, $24 million deal with a fourth option year, but Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey wasted no time in making a counteroffer.[/rquoter]
