Personally, I'd do the Samsung UN55H7150 for $999. It's Samsung's mid-tier model for this year. Main differences being picture quality is better rated than the UN55H6350 and comes with a smart remote that acts as a pointer. Also has 3D, but haven't used it nor probably would regularly. For an extra $100, I think it's worth it to get that. Multiple places have it on sale for that price like Amazon and Best Buy. Sears actually is the same price but they're including $200+ in rewards points to use at Sears, could be an extra bonus if you shop at Sears.
so looks like walmart has some "pre" black friday deals going. in the ad i see select xbox one/ps4 games for $30 the graphic shows NBA 2K15 but for ps4...i'm assuming the deal would still be the same for xbox one version?
The only real deal that's been advertised thus far for a system is at Toys R Us: http://wiiudaily.com/2014/11/toys-r-us-skylanders-wii-u-bundle/ Spoiler I'd recommend buying a high capacity USB to use with it. You'd probably need one eventually even with a 32 GB hard drive. Also--Wal Mart has Mario Kart 8 for $35. Amazon has Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag for $22 and Injustice: Gods Among Us for $14.
Just bought a Samsung 8550. 4k ultra hd 55 in for 1800. Had a gift card from rooms to go so I couldn't pass up on it. Glad I get to avoid the crazy lines next week.
Ebay is supposed to have some deals on WiiU for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. I believe the Super Mario WiiU bundle is supposed to be 259.95. Kind of meh for BF but better then the regular price.
Best Buy will have it for $30. It will go on sale on Amazon at some point for $20-25 on "Cyber Monday" if last year is any indication.
They aren't just an auction site anymore. Here is the ad http://bfads.net/Black-Friday/eBay/Ad?page=2#viewer
Back to the topic at hand... Has anyone noticed any really good deals on a good quality laptop, like an i5 or i7 with decent screen and upgraded graphics card? Also, any diy bundles, something with an i7 or an 8350 chip and all the components? Plus I'll need to hopefully snag Windows 7, so a good deal on that would be great.. I look at the ads and everything, but I know there is no way I cam see them all, and you guys are always better sleuths anyway..
I'm strongly considering pulling the trigger on a plasma tv. I see that they are no longer being manufactured. But they are highly regarded among picture buffs. I wanna see what all the fuss is about "black blacks" and "deep whites". Blacks on my current back-lit LCD look black-grayish. White, I haven't really paid much attention to. Can someone point me to any good deals? Preferably Panasonic or Samsung.
microcenter is actually supposed to have the best notebook deals on digital wednesday, so I'm trying to hold off until then. Probably won't even get anything on black friday, small business saturday or cyber monday. I haven't heard what's going on green tuesday yet.
