It's hard not to think of the big fella, but at least Durant doesn't weigh 300+ pounds. Maybe that'll make a difference, long term. I don't know, but regardless, it's a terrible loss for the league if he doesn't recover.

Dwight's decline began with the herniated disk in Orlando.

I'm sorry but after he called Dwight a pu$$y I can't say I feel bad for him due to his arrogant a$$hole treatment of D12 back in Nov.

I never wish injury or celebrate injury on a team/player but I gotta tell you - had he not said that I would feel bad. But I can't say I do.

Having said that- I wish him health in the future. However, I can tell you that I honestly believe he would take personal pleasure in D12 either failing in postseason or getting hurt. I honestly believe he hates D12 and I got a problem with that. I also believe he would take pleasure in the Rockets failing as a team.

I believe it would kill him if Harden gets a ring before him.

I can't prove most of the above - but it's my gut feelings.

To OKC and their fans that hate the rox and Patman - Karma.

And I won't do it on my own, my closest and friends and family are here to help and that's something I will be forever grateful for. The more I follow NBA, I start to believe less and less in the term 'freak athlete'. If a guy is 6'11 or taller and moves like Durant (Embiid, Antetokounmpo, Drummond, Porzingis etc.) I'm no longer shocked he gets his foot injured.

Yeah, the human body can only handle so much. Freak athlete is tossed around a lot. For me guys like Hakeem, Lebron, Vlade Divac (to a lesser extent) are the true freaks of nature because they move so fluidly on large bodies without having any problems. Shaq, too, was a freak in that his legs and feet supported his massive size for so long.

This. Dude in actuality is 450lbs or more and should be on WWE but manages to play pro basketball with not much issues given his size. Even as a backup he does put in 20 mins + a game.
