On second thought, if I'm TNT I do exactly the same thing. you can't leave this game. but still, irrational or no, i'm pissed.
i said out loud to the Nets, either hit the three or miss altogether, do not hit the two to send it to double overtime... its past ten o clock!!!
I dont understand why they coudnt put it in the corner of the screen. I mean we saw troy aikmans mug on during the rockets game on espn. Thats what should happen in this situation regardless of the teams involved.
Did we really need to have a rerun of Everybody Loves Raymond playing on TBS? Turner needs to take advantage of having the extra channel, like I have seen ESPN do with ESPN2.
I thought OT was interesting and I don't mind..I just watch FSN until that game ended..TWO OVERTIMES LOL man I wanted NJ to win.
As annoying as it was, TNT had no choice. It's the unfortunate thing about double headers. I remember it happened with the Astros as well. I guess the only way to look at it is this - would you want an overtime game between Houston and another team to be cut away from to say show another series? No way!
It's called a very basic lack of planning. Playoff games shouldn't be stacked so close together where time isn't allowed for overtime(s). So it might be the NBA or it might be TNT but either or both are not considering the fans.
The thing I don't get is how games can be spaced two hours apart... that was the case today, right? How often do games end in under two hours? Isn't the average time 2:10 or so? Now, how often do *playoff* games end in two hours? Rockets/Mavs didn't even go to overtime and it took a while (thanks to the fouls, but still). Sigh...
