Rangers aside, the Astros have played some good baseball these last couple of weeks. Now, they need to prove that the Rangers series didn't sap all of the momentum they had built prior to the series.
If they cant do this vs a team last in their division, and not that great at home (11-15), then I dont know when they can.
I thought the astros had to sweep the a's to absorb the rangers beating. Now they have to get 2 out of three and 1 out of 2 to make it a successful road trip. WWL
Exactly what I'm anticipating. Before the Rangers series, I was questioning whether a 4-game series in Arlington came at the perfect time, since we were playing great going in, or the worst possible time, since it could kill our momentum.

i'm just glad they're sitting Carlos the fly swatting Gomez. He has the most ridiculous hacks at the plate that I've seen in a long long time.
Not understanding what someone like Danny Worth has to do to get the call when so many on the major league roster are struggling...especially since he can play SS. .352/.457/.571/1.029 through 52 games...also 0 errors through 16 games at SS for Fresno.
Agreed, would like to see what he can do. Could at least be a DH when Gattis plays catcher especially if it is a Southpaw on the mound.
Would give us much more flexibility too. White has just been an absolute zero in all facets of the game since the scorching first week.

He'd be up by now with probably every other FO around the league running things. I'll be surprised if we don't get swept.
Seems like he's nothing more than a fantastic AAAA player. He's had several opportunities in the majors, played 133 games for DET from 2010 - 2014, and look mostly like a replacement level player. I'm just playing devil's advocate -- I've never seen him play. Yes his stats are great, but FO has to have a reason to keep him down. I'm assuming they just don't think he can translate from AAA to Majors.
