Fortunately, the Rockets don't need flashy dunks to be Champs they just need more Chuck Hayes <iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/j-vgozqICao" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="445" width="440"></iframe>
...oh and obviously joking about above post, before a flood of videos are posted to prove me wrong lol
I would say he about the same as where he was the last couple years in Houston... Though, like I said his time was limited and role very specific in Toronto. (let's forget about the last year in Sacramento please) In my opinion rebounding due to positioning isn't a skill you lose unless you are injured or too old... Chuck is neither. Don't expect him to be more than he was before... As long as he's healthy he'll be about the same as what you remember
lol that was all about wanting to put him in one the competitions for the seniors somewhere out of respect for his accomplishments and the dunk contest was the best they could come up with so funny to see that again.
People just assume that he's too old just because his numbers dropped after he left the Rockets. He's only 32, which is the tail end of prime for most basketball players. Guys who do not rely heavily on athleticism have a longer prime. IMO, Chuck was just not used the same way in Sacramento and in Toronto as he was in Houston.

Not even upset about this. Love the Chuckwagon and had hoped he could teach our bigs some D, but we already have our veteran leadership in JET and unlike Chuckwagon, JET has actually won a ring.
Terry can't teach our bigs to play D. Heck, he can't teach ANYONE to play D. I like Terry's signing. But it is not the same as getting Hayes at all.
I thought that was what I said? Only thing he offers over JET is teaching D. As for veteran leadership, JET has us covered.
Former player/Present coaches are a dime a dozen! What Chuck could provide for us can be found elsewhere easier than a veteran who can shoot with CHAMPIONSHIP experience.
Don't be surprised if Morey adds another player (or possibly 2) to the roster over the next couple days by trading for them using our available TPE's that makes many posters here scratch their heads wondering why he traded for that player(s).
What's funny about this video is Hayes has made more money playing basketball than every single competitor who was in this dunk contest.
