I am really looking forward to the knockout stages in the Champions League. I think it will be between Real, Chelsea, and Bayern. The Bayern team and Guardiola seem to have found each other. I mean, we haven't had Schweinsteiger, Thiago, Martinez, Badstuber, and for a long time we were without either Ribery or Robben. Yet, we have literally been obliterating other teams. I hope we don't drop off in the second half of the season, but it's not really looking like it right now.
Unfortunately for us it sounds about right.. It's a shame that we went from having the best midfield to now being mediocre.
As Guardiola said, life goes in cycles. You had yours and I am sure Barca will be back at the top sooner or later. I was in the stadium when Barca beat Bayern 4:0 and I was in the stadium for both matches when Bayern destroyed Barca...so things can swing one way or another within a short time. My next goal is to be in the stadium when Bayern knocks Real out again...
Don't know about Chelsea, think they're overrated each year because of the weak PL. They play completely different vs. international competition and never looked really brilliant in recent years.
