I don't hate LeBron. I did root against the Heat the past four years mainly because of (1) The Decision, (2) the collusion of the Super Friends, and (3) "not 1, not 2, not 3...." Now I am neutral about LeBron and the Cavs.
He choked, period. Has he choked before? Yes. Will he not choke again in a while? Maybe. No matter what, he choked, period.
Lebron is a a pretty educated and smart guy, did he seriously write "after a tough LOST instead of LOSS ??? Hmmmm. Looks like missing FT's isn't all he isn't that good at... That said I generally like Lebron, but hated his azz yesterday, especially after his incredibly Oscar worthy acting job when James gave him a love tap on the inside of his thigh after he mugged the **** out of Harden on the no call.
Credit to Aj Walkin Please take a moment to admire the great LeBron for the special talent he is. It never gets old looking at the King's history. So many accomplishments Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan will never achieve: 1.Only player in NBA history to quit because of Air Conditioner. 2.First player in NBA history to blame his Jersey 3.Lose not 1, not 2, but 3 times in the Finals. 4.Bail on the dunk contest 10 times. 5.Only able to win a ring with 2 superstars. 6.Play on same team as his moms boyfriend. 7.Average 1.8 pts in the 4th quarter of NBA finals. 8.Dunked on by a high school kid then confiscates the tape. 9.Have a national televised TV show to leave his team. 10.Go 2 for 18 in an NBA playoff game. 11.Get stuffed by a player under 6 feet. (Nate Robinson) 12.Flop every single game in the playoffs. 13.Choke 4 out of 5 finals games by dropping FG% by 18. 14.Quit on his team the year after he promises a championship 15.0 Rings if not for refs calling early fouls on Durant and Westbrook it threw them out of rhythm, made them play soft, and sit for big parts of the game which changed the flow and momentum of the finals.
I'm not a defender of Lebron, but it NEVER counted against Jerry West. And this "finals" shouldn't count against Lebron either. Totally overmatched, team-wise (and I'm ready to say coach-wise too).
When does reaching an NBA finals count against you? A lot of the haters here completely ignore the fact that reaching the finals is already extremely hard, probably because these guys are Kobe fanboys and are insecure about their idol's place in the rankings. Kobe cant even reach the wcf on his own, much less the Finals.
Are you serious? Im not going to pretend Lebron isn't good, but the Eastern conference is a cake walk. There has been only one real contender each year, with a couple potential teams that have their records inflated. The remainder suck. Lebron getting to the finals each year is not an unfathomable reach.
LeBron is already an all time great. I've never seen a sport where being a runner-up could actually hurt your legacy ranking.
@_Happy_Gilmore: Updated records in the Finals- Jordan: 6-0 Kobe: 5-2 LeBron: 2-4 Excuses for their record- Jordan: 0 Kobe: 0 LeBron: 25,734,897,102,934,722
