Ever since I was a freshmen in college 4 years ago, coming back home on break, going to the mall, and oogled at girls. Then reminding myself I'm not in high school anymore.
When I was 20 and I got the dreaded "sir" from this cute sales girl at the Foley's in West Oaks mall. Not a great day.
I got that 2 years ago, when I was 13. Never felt the same again when seeing girls working in stores.
I'm 36 and I got carded buying a lotto ticket last year. I realized I was old when was talking to a hot college age girl on an airplane and was bored out of my mind because we had nothing in common.
I can remember two distinct moments where I thought, "Um, oh crap." The first, I was 20 and working at this music store. This really hot girl came in and wanted to buy a guitar. She was with her parents and they were getting it for her birthday. I thought she was probably 18 or 19 by the way she looked. I asked her how old she was and she said, "I'm going to be 12." I'm not sure what I said, but I got the hell out of there. The second time was a few years ago. A couple I just know really in passing had their daughter at this event. I was sure she was in her early/mid 20's. I wasn't flirting with her or anything. But every guy in the place was gawking. She looked like a freaking Playmate. Turns out she was 15. FIFTEEN!!! AAAGGGHHH, MY EYES!!! Girls didn't look like that when I was in high school.
tis the hormones in the food? lol seriously, girls in other countries at that age arent this developed.
I was married at 18, so I got out of the habit of gawking very early on. Seeing the kids that are my sons' ages (19 and 15), they all look very young to me these days (I just turned 37). What made me feel old was when the actresses who were roughly my age or younger stopped getting the "Hot Girl" roles and started getting the "Mom" roles.
