Does anyone else think this deal is becoming a lot more one-sided then they thought??? It looks like we stole Harden!!! I know he is not gonna put up 30+ a night but man does he look good. I bet OKC wishes they had traded Westbrook.
This is a knee jerk, but yeah Harden is better than Westbrook. Westbrook is out of control and hurts the team more than helps with crazy layup attempts
If anything Morey did the trade right. He traded Lamb when he was at his highest. His career only goes down from here...
Both teams benefited from the trade. We got our star, they got flexibility, potential and a respectable replacement for Harden. Mission accompished, lets leave it at that.
Lamb just showed that he's the greatest 3 point shooter in NBA history with 100% FG percentage. What a mistake by Morey!
It's all about fair value, if Harden maintains this productivity, he'll be in the running for MVP this season. 5 Kmarts and 5 lottery protected draft picks is worth much less than a MVP caliber player. MVPs don't happen often, maybe once every 3-5 drafts.
I don't think the trade was that bad for OKC. It was just absolutely awesome for the Rockets. They got silver and we got gold.
I think it works out well for both teams. We needed a #1 option like Harden while OKC needs a #3 option. There's such a thing as too many stars on a team. Once OKC adjusts for Martin, I think that team will do well.
Couldn't resist looking at the Thunder forum: they're in denial. http://www.thunderfans.com/vforum/showthread.php?9606-I-predict-Harden-will-struggle/page6
