I can't wait to see this. www.americangangster.net Great read about Frank Lucas, Denzel's character in the movie. http://nymag.com/nymetro/news/people/features/3649/index1.html
Same role for Denzame Washington... different role for Crowe. How about doing a different character for once, Denzel? I can wait to see this on DVD.
Denzel is one of the most versatile actors in american history. He's done everything but comedy. He has played good guys, bad guys, and all guys in between. I don't get it Swoly. Help me out here...
I think what Swoly is saying is that Denzels recent roles have been the same. Actually, everything post Malcolm X has been some sort of cop archtype. I'll take Mo'better Blues era Denzel over Training Day era Denzel anyday.
I was walking around 125th street in Harlem when they were shooting a scene. Sounds very interesting.
No comedy you say? What about Heart Condition and Carbon Copy. Certainly not his best known work but I loved him in CC.
denzel's given some of the best performances i've seen in some great movies, but he's been cookie-cutter for a while now. when i saw the preview for deja-vu i gave up. i agree with swoly, he's the same guy over and over.
I thought 'Man on Fire' was Denzel's best performance by far. I also thought 'Inside Man' was the worst. He really mailed in that performance.
Denzel seems like the same guy in every film, I think he's overrated... I think when it comes to black actors Don Cheadle >> Everyone Else
Denzel and Russell together onscreen again!!! I've been waiting for them to reteam since Virtuosity came out 12 years ago!
i love denzel. i even like the same role denzel from man on fire to training day etc. but it is annoying how he's the same person.
Eddie Murphy >> Everyone Else I mean seriously.. have you seen ONE actor play all roles in multiple movies? The guy is so good, the director says "that's it, we're getting him to play all characters!" Thank God he's not in p0rn.. and I hate Denzel. Sorry Denzel, King Kong gots alot more s*** on you.
