We better be ready to fight!!! This could easily go to 6-7 games if we keep screwing around, Harden needs to be aggressive and everybody needs to be locked in defensively. Treat this to like it's game 1.

The Bulls couldn't fend off Bucks and now it's 3:2. Pressure is mounting for them.

I don't want the Rockets to be in this situation.

Get it done tonight, Rockets! Bring your defense and your free-throws.

Actually it was good thing that all road teams won yesterday. Just a wake up call (if one was really needed for us) that teams will not lay down for you. You must take it to them, something the Rockets neglected to do after the 1st quarter of last game.

Harden and Howard must lead by their actions. Terry must lead by being vocal throughout the game.

 

Wayyyy too much negativity on this board at the current stae. We're up 3-1 heading home. We took care of business at our end, and did what we were supposed to do in at least taking one at theirs.

We knew this wasn't going to be a very easy series to begin with, and to be up 3-1 going home is a huge blessing IMO. They have to beat us twice on our home court to win this series. Something they haven't shown they can do once.

 

It's called sense of urgency. Positivity led to the loss of game 4.

 

Nothing the GARM did led to the loss of game 4. All that matters is the players.

 

Must prove on defence. Letting in 249 points over the past 2 games simply isn't good enough. We also need to get more rebounds.
It's ours to win, but also to lose.
For those lucky enough to be going to the game, bring the noise. And go rockets!

You are exactly right. That's why I said players needed to bring defense and freethrow to game 5 and close out the Mavs.

Situation the Bulls in right now, the momentum has swung to the Bucks side with game 6 in Milwaukee. Bucks are playing with house money and relaxed. Pressure is high for the Bulls. Rockets need to avoid all that.

 

The series ends tonight!

 

Play our best players from the start, and give them big minutes.
Brewer at the 1 should defend Berea, Harden should defend Aminu, Ariza on Ellis, Smith on Dirk, and Howard on Tyson.

Terry should be the first off the bench followed by Jones. Prigioni, Capela and or Johnson should get brief minutes.

Defense, rebounding and attacking the basket is the key.

I expect a jam packed full house tonight. Make some serious noise!

I don't think we're all being negative(some are, but not all). We're just concerned. The Rockets showed no killer instinct the other night and that cannot happen again.

I know it's been a long time and it was a different Rockets team, but I hope someone(maybe Dream, Clyde, or Mario) lets these guys know about the 1997 series against Seattle. That Rockets group also came home with a 3-1 lead and a chance to close out the Sonics only to drop Game 5(in fairness, Seattle played incredible defense that night) and they wound up having to go all the way to the final seconds of Game 7 to win. The end result was they had very little left in the tank against a well-rested Jazz team and it likely cost them a trip to the Finals.

I agree it's a great situation to be up 3-1 with a chance to close them out at home. But the Rockets have to actually go out there and win this. The Mavs are not gonna roll over and quit.

 

Keep moving the ball and dont wait for the defense to settle on every possesion. That means stop asking for the ball every possesion and dribble it slow Harden.
