Tucker won't bat 2nd often especially if Bregman can be as patient in the MLB as minors but I do like it for bow. Seems he is recognizing pitches better and working counts so far. Hopefully Gomez gets going.
From the way this season started, leading up to being 2.5 back from the Rangers, and now having Breg debut tonight with Gurriel coming up in hopefully 3-4 weeks... This is just so much fun. Like AJ said, this couldn't be a better time for Bregman to get called up. The team is playing great, the team is having fun, you have guys like Altuve, Correa, and Springer to take some of the pressure off of the kid, all he has to do is be himself.
I can't stand seeing Gattis as DH but I guess when your options are him, Jake, or Rasmus it doesn't look that bad.
I don't have any numbers to back this up, but it definitely feels like he is a far better hitter on the days that he catches. It's going to be unreal when we can get Gurriel's bat in the lineup. Slide Tucker to DH, move Bregman up in the order to 2nd, and slot Gurriel at 5th.
Yes. I remember him playing LF against Arizona, and a few other times, mostly against NL teams (if not only against NL teams).
