http://www.lakersnation.com/why-kob...best-shooting-guard-in-the-league/2014/09/01/ Can Harden dethrone this Kobe guy, who is 36 years old and entering the prime years of his NBA stint? Spoiler Why does this **** make it to yahoo?
Until Kobe comes out and plays at an elite level he is not better than Harden. Stop living in the past.
Terrible article. He does not make an argument except for: because i say so... Please do not post this rubbish on our forum. Thanks.
Of course Kobe has had a better career, but it's unfair because Harden is only 24. But to act like Kobe is better than Harden right now? Nah. Kobe will average 16ppg with 40% shooting this season.
Harden has a lot to everything to prove. Kobe has been proven. Harden needs to play both ends of the court at an elite level and at least bring Houston 5 rings. Hell I am sure most of us would be ecstatic if the guy could take us past tge first round for once. We're comparing a legend to a young prodigy.
The article is comparing them going into next season. There is no comparison -- Harden is clearly better at this point.
Not sure if I agree. Kobe is definitely going to the hall of fame as one of the best 2 guards to ever play the game. I don't think that is the 'throne' that the OP refers to but rather the current best SG in the league. Last year, Harden showed that you can make a very good argument that he was the best SG in the league. This year, coming back from injury, Kobe has to prove that he can still be the best as that "title" is not just given out.
Fixed. And wrong. Kobe's probably even more worthless on defense. Fixed. But this has nothing to do with the quoted post. And the second part is wrong. Even some punctuation can't save this post.
