    Man this season is ridiculous.

You can't go 3 days without playing a game.

Tough start to Rockets schedule. No LeBron/Wade visit, unless Lakers acquire them also. Adelman's HOU return on 1/30.

I know everyone has it tough this year, but that's a brutal first 8 games... even the games that look like "maybe wins" are on the back end of a back-to-back.

It balances out, but a 2-6 or 1-7 start would not be a good first impression ... tanking decision could be made for them. But then, they were 0-5 and 3-10 to start last year, so you never know.

    No problem.

    tv schedule

i just looked at our schedule for the upcoming season and for lots of our games there are no tv schedule except for the ones on NBA tv. just want to know where the other games will be showing this year. if it will still be with FSN or another network.

Teams that have good continuity (Houston) will have an advantage at the beginning of the season. McHale has said he wants to keep the same system in place offensively and Chris Finch will be running it.

This might be a good time to catch some of the better teams when they are still shaking off rust.

    He did?

When McHale was on 610 a few days, he hinted that he'd only keep parts of Adelman's offense, as -- and I'm paraphrasing -- "you gotta be who you are".

From just a quick glance, i see a bunch of stinky losses for the first several games, then we catch up, play even, then go on another streak before it gets tough near the end.

These predictions based solely by looking at who we are facing.

I thought for sure we'd be one of the teams with 2 back to back to backs. Last year we had 21 back to back games as well, although now it's in a shorter period of time.

I wish the season would have started on time. We wouldve had 11 home games on the first 13 Saturdays of the season!! Wouldve been great for us game goers.

Really bummed about the Celtics heat magic and bulls not coming to the Toyota center. Those are some of the most fun games of the season. I was really looking forward to the Rockets beat down of the Celtics at home like they did last season.

Upon further review, Rockets play 23 sets of b-to-bs, 2nd-most. They do get a break. Opponents will be completing 27 b-to-bs, also 2nd most.

So disappointing. Not coming to ATL this year, and they come to OKC the week after I leave there.

And I just noticed there are no TV listings for the Rockets on ESPN. WTH?

Well after reading through this thread, I guess it is once again no National TV. I think people hate Houston.

I'm not worried about the schedule. Other teams will have it just as bad. Good thing we have a good young team that has chemistry already.;)
