.5 English/Irish/Belgium .5 Asian Why multiple choice options? My wife has red hair but is not Irish. I am part Irish but have dark hair (Asian ancestry). When the St. Patrick's Day Parade comes around they always want my wife in it but she's not Irish. I'm part Irish but they don't want me for some reason....
European mixed. On my mom's side (nee Tobiska), french, german, welsh, and my grandpa was 100% Czech. I don't know about my dad's side - Snipe and Holloway are English names I guess.
my ancestry? IM A TEXAN - YEE HAW! 1/2 german - fathers side - im 4th generation american 1/4 hispanic - mothers father 1/4 indian - mothers mother is from bangalore, india
No more plain white Western Europeans representing than this? Mixed, like most of you, but it's almost all Western European as far as I can tell (with a little bit of Native American, and probably some German somewhere). Most of it is Irish but a good percentage is English. I do not have red hair, and I don't drink. Part of my name is Polish, but I'm not. When I have any choice about it, I eat "ethnic" food instead of what white Americans are supposed to like (meat loaf, ketchup, green bean casserole made with cream of mushroom soup...).
You would have to vote "South Asian" in this poll. Consider that he put the Philippines in the South category and you see that all of the countries you mentioned above would have to be the same...seeing as the Philippines are more East than all of them. Obviously, his categories are a little off...but you get the idea.
Hill Country German/Prussian (Krieder anglicised into Crider) Frenchie Mennonite (Tonnellier -> Tunnell) Comanche (would really like to find out my g.g.dad's injun name) Scots/Irish/English (Dennison, Heffington, Simpson). Found out over the holidays that one of my dad's distant relatives fled Oklahoma for Texas after killing the sheriff in some p.o.s. town there. Hook 'Em.
