    I'm watching Dune right now and Sting's role made me think about all of the musicians that have played great roles in movies during the years.

    I'd say that Meatloaf in Fight Club is probably my favorite. Sting does a great job in Dune, David Bowie was fantastic in Labrynth, and Dwight Yoakam was a great bad guy in Panic Room.

    Any others?

    macy gray in training day. caught me off guard when she popped up in that movie and thought she did a badass job.

    could only find a clip with a few secs of her in it though. sigh...

    Although Im not fond of all his music. I thought Tupac did a good job in Juice and that other movie where he's a single father and mailman...dont know the name. I thought I saw Dave Matthews in 'Chuck and Larry'.
