Same ole, same ole. I used to have Oiler flashbacks, now I have Texan flashbacks. Is there a curse on professional football in this city?

Agree with the running the ball bit, but on that last play Schaub felt the pressure he was dancing around like a live chicken on a hot grill, he knew they were there he could have protected the ball a bit better.

But stuff like that happens late...the two biggest faux pas to me were:

    1. Kubiak did not run the ball enough, the Texans were gashing them all night long, why he didn't run Foster 30 or more times is inexcusable.

    2. Schaub throwing that pick 6, it just can not happen in a game like this, he didn't make a good throw there....maybe Kubiak could have helped him by running it but dang....don't give up freebies to their defense.

wow, this actually makes sense ;) . It also sucked to see matt schaub shell shocked for almost the entire first half after getting sacked.

It's cursed because we didn't dra...

Seriously, When the fortunes get reversed, it's going to be awesome. It took New Orleans a long time. It took Tampa a long time.

Foster should not have only had 15 carries in this game. He should have at least at 25. Kubiak, how exactly did you beat the Colts in Week 1? Do you need five months to figure it out because it appears two weeks was not enough.

Foster had 105 rush yards, 65 pass yards, 1 rush TD...he only had 15 carries?!?!

The worst part is that he had 8 carries in the first half. He had a great ypc average at half time, and what does Kubiak do? Runs the ball LESS with Foster!

Kubiak has to go. Even with the atrocious defense, the Texans still had a chance to win the ball game. Hand it to Foster when he's running that well.

I'm sick and tired of Houston sports teams glamoring up with pretty offense and no defense. Give me smashmouth football, give me JVG defense, give me some results!

I want to add...we should re-evaluate the talent of our WRs outside of Johnson.

Jones drops a ton of balls every game. There was one fumble where he's stretching the ball out...behind the line of scrimmage? Why? You do know you are presenting the ball to the defense for one extra yard that really means nothing. It's not a first down, it's just one extra yard man.

I agree. Jones has really regressed this year.

This coaching staff pisses me off to no end. How the HELL does Arian Foster only run the ball 15 times in this game?? He could've had another 200 yard game (not to mention Schaub wouldn't have been loopy enough to throw that idiotic pick 6) if Kubiak wasn't so stubborn. With the way the offensive line was playing, Freeney basically had free reign on Matt Schaub's torso all effing game, so what does our glorious head coach decide? Let's keep dropping him back until I've dug my team in such a hole that they HAVE to continue to pass! On what planet does that make any f***ing sense?!? GAH, I am so livid right now. This game was easily winnable. Peyton looked like trash, our defense actually got some decent play from the secondary for a while, and Foster was gashing them every single time he touched the ball. This loss sits squarely on the shoulders of Gary Kubiak, but when I hear him say "It's on me" tomorrow, I am still going to want to slap the ever-loving **** out of him.

I'm not sure that telling people they're not going to see the Texans win the big one in their lifetime is reassuring.
