    Blues have taken control of their series. I expect them to end that series in 5 or 6.

    So I see Backstrom got a match penalty at the end of the game. Brendan Shanahan has been quite busy in the past 4-5 days.

    yeah, what can you do on that one.. shouldn't have been in that position in the first place. The caps did a terrible job pretty much all night in 4 on 4 situations...gave up way too many open looks and were scrambling all the time in the defensive zone during those times

    I hope Shaw doesn't get suspended for that acting job that Mike Smith pulled. The hit was clearly inadvertent.

    Not the most entertaining series, but most of my buddies are hockey fans so we do double-header viewing parties. The Caps look outmatched, but I have to give them credit for going down fighting.

    Shaw got 3 games for that bull****. Mike Smith embellishes it somewhat and then stays on the floor like a little p***y pretending he got hurt. I know that had part to do with why Shaw got suspended and that's just plain stupid.

    Mike Smith was never hurt. The NHL is such a joke. I get that Shaw is a rookie and he isn't a star like Weber is, but 3 ****ing games for an inadvertent hit is just stupid.

    I hope this lights up some fire under the Hawks. We've played like absolute **** and are lucky to be in this series. If this gives us some hope to play back to the league-best level we were playing at, then I can change my expectation for this series.

    surprised to hear they look outmatched from a more objective POV. 2 games to OT (1 to double), and the 3rd coming down to a gamewinner with under 2 mins left in regulation. Doesn't that seem pretty even overall? I guess that was my thought.

    Both teams seem equally physical to me. Similar # of shots (until late in game 3) and goals

    I'm tired of the NHL. The Phoenix Coyotes are ****ing dirty faggots. They've been babied by the NHL in this series. I swear to god, I hope we knock out one of their players. **** this bull****.

    Yeah.....I just read the live blog........so let me get this straight? Torres leaves his feet and knocks Hossa out with a shoulder to the skull........Bollig does his job and attacks the guy who knocked out one of our stars with a dirty hit..........Bolling gets 12 minutes off ice and Torres is off scott free?

    I am with you ItsMyFault.........this is becoming some BS.
