An alright defender under Tom Thibodeau. Not a shooter/scorer. Not sure what happened in NY/OKC last year. Disappeared. I don't think he's guaranteed a roster spot here though.
Lin/Beverley/Brooks/Canaan Harden/Garcia/Williams/Young Parsons/Casspi/Brewer Jones/Motiejunas/Smith/Covington Howard/Asik/Camby/Henriquez Now we are at 19 I believe?
Lin Harden Parsons Howard Asik Beverley Brewer Garcia Williams Casspi Jones Motiejunas Brooks Smith Camby That's 15. Canaan will probably be sent to the D-League. Who else is there?
I was always a fan of his game - his odd shooting style though will make it tough if the Rockets are trying to play a true inside out type game he will have a hard time fitting in since he isnt a good outside shooter. From what I do remember though is that he is a good slasher, mid range shooter and a tough defender. Considering what the Rockets currently have defensively in the backcourt he may be a huge asset then. The also added benefit - the will make Harden better -- having to go up against Brewer every practice will help his game on both floors. training camp will be very interesting though thats for sure Lin/Bev/Brooks/Canaan Harden/Williams/Brewer Parsons/Garcia/Casspi Jones/Montiejunas/Covington Howard/Asik/Camby/Smith and I am sure I am missing some more as well
That really tall kid and/or Covington would be my guess, unless a trade is imminent. Right now: Lin / Beverley / Brooks / Canaan Harden / Garcia / Williams Parsons / Casspi / Brewer Terrence Jones / Motiejunas Dwight Howard / Asik / Greg Smith
Ha. I'm guessing (hoping) just a training camp body on a non-guaranteed deal. Not a huge fan of Brewer, though he'll certainly do for training camp.

Good player. I hope he regains his form from 2-3 years ago when he was actually useful. Otherwise, end-of-the-bench defense that only gets minutes when we're playing a team with too much wing scoring to stick our already signed perimeter guys on them.
